Acara Solutions is seeking a Program Manager IV to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity available in Hauppauge NY
Salary: 145,00 - $160,000 annually

Position Overview
The Program Manager IV is responsible for managing the overall execution of complex projects and leading cross-functional project teams. This role requires strong stakeholder communication, detailed project reporting, and alignment of project execution with company objectives.
The ideal candidate has transitioned from a technical background (such as engineering) into program management and brings a strong understanding of both technical and business drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the project risk management process and develop risk mitigation plans
- Analyze plans, specifications, proposals, and related documentation to prepare project bid estimates
- Assess, plan, and allocate project resources throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicate project plans, objectives, and responsibilities clearly to project teams
- Serve as a primary point of contact with customers and internal teams; lead project meetings
- Drive successful project delivery while ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Maintain and manage a project risk register to ensure accuracy and visibility
- Oversee customer service activities, including scheduling and delivery coordination
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of combined experience in program management and a technical field
- Minimum of 8 years experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in an engineering leadership role
