Interested?Here's what you'd do:As a Material Handler, you will perform the necessary movement of materials: receiving, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory of all items, including transport of materials to production areas. You may need to document and record the receipt and delivery of all materials and products using SAP. This position also performs the needed equipment inspections to ensure safe operation.Safely operates a stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and sit-down forklift in high-traffic areas and narrow aislesInspects moving equipment dailyUnloads and receives production materials physically and records them in the SAP systemCounts and verifies counts for incoming material within the storeroomPick materials for inside and outside customers using RF Scanners with count accuracyPerforms cycle counts daily of materials in the storeroomPacks and ships materials efficiently and damage-free for shipment to our customersLoads materials for outgoing shipments and makes sure that proper documentation is being provided to driversEfficient with small hand tools, battery, electrical, & air power toolsAdhere to developed processes and methods and seek ways to improveAdhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and othersPerform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.Here's what you'll get: Pay rate: $20.00 /hrHours: 40 hours/week (2nd Shift)Length: Temp (12 Months)Sound like a good fit? Minimum 2 years of experience in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. Preferred Skills / Qualifications:Associate DegreeMinimum 1 year of experience in material management (warehousing)Minimum 1 year of experience in driving a forklift.Experience with the SAP systemExperience with RF Scanner devicesProficient with MS Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and OutlookHave excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishBe a good team playerHave the ability to work independently with little guidanceBe able to perform job duties safely with a sense of urgencyHave excellent attention to detail while working to a deadlineHave a positive attitude, work well with others, and implement constructive criticismAdditional Information:Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
