Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Irving, TX. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Performs assembly of components into sub-assemblies and completed assemblies under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor and the Group Leader.
- Our products encompass a range of assemblies utilized in the conveyance and processing of mail, parcels, and baggage.
- Works from the instructions of supervision, written processes/work instructions, and engineering documentation/blueprints to assemble products.
- Utilizes standard hand tools, tape measure, battery and pneumatic hand tools, cranes, and test equipment in the assembly process.
- Self-inspects completed work.
- Regularly lifts and works with parts and assemblies weighing 25 pounds.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly workspace.
- Obtains and maintains a knowledge of company policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

- Pay rate: $19.00/Hour
- Hours: 40 Hours/Week 1st Shift 5:00 am-1:30 pm, M-F
- Length: Contract to Hire (12 Months)

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of Mechanical assembly experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with using hand tools and drills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience reading engineering drawings.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a repetitive assembly operation
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented.
Additional Information :
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

- Able to work at a steady pace for up to ten hours per day.
