Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to guests in both languages, assisting with menu selections and answering questions about ingredients or specials.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, following proper food handling procedures.
- Support catering, banquet events, or nightclub service as needed, demonstrating flexibility across various hospitality settings.
Experience
- Proven restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in catering or food industry roles that require serving large groups or managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously is a plus.
