Position: PRN Care Pro to provide care in Walker, Jefferson, Tuscaloosa, and Pickens Counties of Alabama. Multiple positions available.
Job Summary:
As a PRN Care Pro, you will be an integral part of our team, helping our clients thrive in their homes. You will provide compassionate and reliable care, focusing on their well-being and promoting their independence. This is a flexible, as-needed position with opportunities for day, night, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with activities of daily living, including:
* Bathing and personal hygiene
* Dressing and grooming
* Medication reminders
* Light housekeeping (e.g., laundry, tidying up)
* Meal preparation
* Companionship and social interaction
* Provide a safe environment for clients, with a high focus on fall prevention.
* Collaborate with local home care and hospice agencies to ensure coordinated care.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the As Close As Family team.
* Be available to work a minimum of one day per week (hours are not guaranteed), with the potential for additional hours based on client needs and staffing shortages.
* Be prepared for last-minute requests to work due to unforeseen circumstances.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in caregiving (preferred).
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
* Ability to provide personal care, including bathing and dressing assistance.
* Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must pass a background check.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
