Job Summary
Seeking an experienced, reliable person with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to work as a Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler in a busy medical office. This role requires a quick learner with strong multi-tasking skills, attention to detail and someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a large volume of patients. Candidates must have a working knowledge of insurance and at least 5 years experience in a medical office.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Verify patient information and ensure it is accurate
- Schedule patient appointments using EHR system
- Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verifications accurately
- Collect copays and payments
- Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Manage appointment reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling efficiently
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines during all patient interactions and documentation review
Experience
- 5 years prior medical office experience is required due to the fast pace and high patient volume of our clinic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
