Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Manage conflicts between children and encourage positive behavior
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive team environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility
Skills:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or classroom setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to educate and engage children in various subjects
- Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management techniques
- First aid certification is preferred but not required

ACADIA Academy has a two full-time student monitor/childcare teacher positions open. The position is Monday through Friday, with a paid base starting at $16.00 an hour and a monthly stipend starting at $240.00 while the grant is active. Hours are 9:00-5:30.
Benefits: 10 paid sick days, 10 paid holidays, paid snow days(as per school calendar), paid week in Dec, and a paid week in July.
