Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Instructional Coach specializing in Reading to inspire and empower educators in delivering exceptional literacy instruction. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to analyze current reading instructional strategies and identify areas for improvement using data-driven approaches.
- Design and deliver engaging professional development sessions focused on evidence-based reading instruction, including the integration of curriculum development and instructional design principles.
- Utilize project management skills to plan, organize, and execute training initiatives aligned with school goals and standards.
- Support the implementation of digital instructional support platforms (iReady and/or IXL)
- Provide ongoing coaching to teachers on effective classroom practices, including the use of classroom management, learning technology, assessment strategies, and differentiated instruction techniques.
- Foster strong communication skills by maintaining collaborative relationships with staff, administrators, and external partners to ensure successful program delivery.
Qualifications
- A valid teaching certification and a Master's in Reading, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related area is required.
- Proven experience in teaching reading or literacy instruction within K-8 education settings.
- Strong background in curriculum development, instructional design, and training & development methodologies such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)
- Proficiency in learning technology tools including iReady and IXL.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
