POSITION OVERVIEW

The RSSP Coordinator will lead and manage the Refugee Support Services Program, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all program components. This role oversees a team of five staff members—two Case Managers, one Employment Specialist, one Intake & Recruitment Specialist, and one Follow-Up Specialist—and is responsible for program planning, staff supervision, compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. The Coordinator will ensure that refugee clients receive comprehensive, culturally competent support to achieve self-sufficiency through employment and training.           

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Program Leadership & Coordination


• Oversee day-to-day operations of the RSSP program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and funder requirements.


• Supervise and support RSSP staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.


• Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure coordination and integration of services across roles.


• Client Services Oversight


• Ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery across intake, case management, employment support, and follow-up.


• Monitor client progress and outcomes, ensuring timely interventions and referrals.


• Promote culturally responsive practices and trauma-informed care throughout the program.


• Partnerships & Outreach


• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, employers, and service providers.


• Represent the program at community events, job fairs, and stakeholder meetings.


• Collaborate with external partners to enhance service offerings and referral networks.


• Compliance & Reporting


• Ensure program compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including refugee resettlement guidelines.


• Oversee data collection, entry, and reporting in case management systems.


• Prepare and submit program reports to funders and internal leadership.


• Strategic Planning & Development


• Contribute to program development, including identifying service gaps and proposing new initiatives.


• Support grant writing and fundraising efforts related to refugee services.


• Stay informed of policy changes and best practices in refugee resettlement and workforce development.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in social work, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field is required (Master’s preferred).


• Experience Minimum 3 years in refugee services, workforce development, or human services, including supervisory experience.


• Language: Fluency in English is required; demonstrated proficiency in a language spoken by refugee communities (e.g., Arabic, Spanish, French, Pashto) is preferred.


• Core Skills:

• Proficiency in data management and reporting systems.


• Cultural competency and experience working with diverse populations.


• Demonstrated familiarity with immigration laws, refugee rights, and the resettlement process.


• Demonstrated experience advocating for clients' rights and needs, including navigating complex systems and securing necessary services.
