What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Manager position at AC Hotels?
The Beautiful, AC Hotel Greenville is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Manager. We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy, fast paced environment, who enjoys a challenge and has excellent Customer Service skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversees daily aspects of the restaurant/bar operation.
- Responds to guests in a timely manner.
- Is visible on the floor to assist staff as needed.
- Works with other F&B managers to guarantee success in the outlet.
- Keeps immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention.
- Monitors quality of service and food in F&B outlet.
- Ensures compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations.
- Ensures the training of employees on SOP’s and technical job tasks.
- Participates in departmental meetings and related trainings.
- Understands, implements and monitors promotions in outlets.
Qualifications
Must be able to listen and communicate effectively with all employees and guests.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
Must have the ability to approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
Must be willing to perform other duties as requested by management while always maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor.
High school diploma or general education degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must speak, read, write and understand English.
