The AC Hotel in downtown Greenville, is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Venue Concierge to join our team at Seratonic Venue & Lounge. As a Venue Concierge, you play a key front-line role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. Responsibilities include ticket scanning, line management, food and beverage expediting, and general guest assistance throughout the venue.
Essential Job Functions:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan digital and physical tickets accurately using handheld devices
- Assist with guest entry, re-entry, and exit to maintain smooth traffic flow
- Monitor lines and provide crowd control assistance as needed
- Deliver food and beverage orders from service areas to designated VIP guests
- Provide accurate venue information and directions to guests
- Respond to guest concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and order in guest-facing areas during events
- Follow all safety, security, and alcohol compliance policies
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or event experience preferred
- High level of energy and comfort working in a loud, fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for long shifts
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable using handheld scanners or mobile POS systems (training provided)
