What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Bartender - PT position at AC Hotels?
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Banquet Bartender to join the AC Hotel team in downtown Greenville. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at banquet events while providing exceptional service to guests. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Set up and break down the banquet bar according to event specifications.
- Mix, garnish, and serve beverages following recipes and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and restocking supplies as needed.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner and respond to their beverage requests.
- Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and follow proper procedures for handling intoxicated patrons.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory control and report any shortages or overages.

Experience/Education
- Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or catering setting.
- Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High School diploma preferred
