What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at AC Employment?
Responsibilities:
A Registered Nurse who, under the direction of the nursing leadership is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care for a specific unit during her/his shift.
- Performs all treatments according to physician's specific order and established policies and procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for assignments given, seeks supervision appropriately, and is accountable for his/her actions by performing within the limits of his/her education and experience.
- Administers and documents all medications according to established policies and procedures, physician's orders and Department of Health regulations.
- Makes rounds, takes and records vital signs as required
Qualifications:
- Current NY State Registered Nurse license
- Must have at least one year of experience as an RN
Education:
- Associate degree
- BSN Preferred
