Position Overview
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical care for patients with a variety of mental health needs. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, dependable, emotionally intelligent, and interested in being part of a collaborative team that is committed to building something sustainable and impactful.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Provide medication management and follow-up care
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor symptoms, medication response, side effects, and treatment progress
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, and wellness strategies
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with leadership and support staff to improve clinical workflows
- Participate in the development of systems that improve patient experience and quality of care
- Maintain professional, ethical, and evidence-based standards of care

Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Active APRN license in Connecticut; Massachusetts (open to obtaining a license from another state)
- Board certification as a PMHNP
- DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience with psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Strong documentation and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and other psychiatric conditions preferred
