Thomaston Counseling Center is seeking an outpatient Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Qualifications: MUST be Licensed Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP)
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in prescribing psychiatric medication.
- Practice with OUT a collaborative agreement.
- DEA#
- NPI & CAQH number, or the ability to obtain post-hire.

This is for a W2 employee, waiting to be engaged/part-time position.
Primarily in the office.
Essential Functions:
Provides psychiatric treatment, including assessment, diagnosis, and prescription of psychotropic medications to persons served.
- Must be able to work with individuals of all ages, including children and families.
- Complete Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation and medication management.
- Must come to the office to see patients!
- Provides medical management and therapy services, as needed.
- Work with the patient's family and the patient's care team when needed.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families when needed.
- Meets agency productivity standards.
- Participates/leads multi-disciplinary teams.
- Responsible for documentation of client progress/outcomes in the progress notes, medication records, treatment plans, quarterly treatment reviews, and discharge summaries.
- Responsible for persons served contacts and treatment planning according to the agency's standards, licensure standards, and reimbursement provider standards.
- Available for psychiatric urgencies or emergencies when needed.
- Consults and coordinates care with team members.
- Attends staff meetings and serves on administrative committees as assigned.
- Responsible for knowing and following all agency policies. It is expected that the employee in this position will know and follow all code of conduct policies and the agency's code of ethics.
- Responsible for knowing and following all agency health and safety policies. Responsible for attending all related training sessions.
- It is expected that confidentiality and discretion will be maintained at all times.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned.
- Per diem when needed for other providers.
- Complete notes with in 24-48hours.
Preferred Applicant Skills, but not required:
- Fluent in another language besides English.
