Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement proper sanitation procedures for bathrooms, kitchens, and other shared spaces to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment effectively to clean floors, carpets, windows, and surfaces.
• Conduct outdoor cleaning tasks including trash removal, and maintaining entryway appeal.
• Follow manual handling guidelines when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with housekeeping management by organizing supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Demonstrated ability to perform cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, dusting, and surface sanitation effectively.
• Experience with cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other specialized tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures for various surfaces and materials ensures thorough sanitation and surface care.
• Outdoor work experience helps in managing external spaces efficiently under different weather conditions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations and feedback.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and follow manual handling protocols diligently.
• Familiarity with residential housekeeping standards or commercial cleaning practices enhances job performance.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
