What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician *Second Shift position at Absolute Water Technologies?
- Are you currently in a mechanical or technical position or are mechanically inclined? Would you like to have most of your days hours free and are more of a night owl or prefer working in a less busy time of day? We may have the right position for you. Hiring for second shift (evening and/or weekend hours are part of most technician positions available). Normally 4PM-midnight with slight variations either way based on customer needs .

Generally, work performed indoors in all commercial settings.
Compensation includes guaranteed full-time salary, performance bonus, health benefits, profit sharing, 15 days paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, professional training opportunities, profit sharing wellness program, additional on-call compensation and company provided 401k contribution.
Job Description:
- Delivery and placement of water treatment equipment
- Exchange Service Deionization Tanks
- Conducting System Disinfections
- Component Replacements
- Conduct and record basic water readings and operating parameters of equipment
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to be available for scheduled on-call service response.
- Previous demonstrated mechanical/service-related experience.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
- Drug Free and able to comply with random drug test as required by our customers.
- Ability to push/pull at times 250 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift 95 lbs.
Preferred Experience (Not required to apply)
- Experience in water treatment service
- Previous business to business service-related transactions
- Previous customer service experience
- Technical, problem-solving ability
- General electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- 2 years of previous experience in a mechanical service-related position
- General plumbing experience with PVC, Poly-Pro, Pex etc.
Seniority Level: Entry level with ability to advance.
