Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented & customer focused Moving Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate customer belongings, determine the scope and weight of relocations, and provide accurate, transparent costs estimates for residential and commercial moves. You will serve as the primary link between the customer and our moving operations ensuring every move is priced fairly and planned efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Assessments: Perform in-home , on-site, virtual video surveys, & office phone estimates to evaluate the volume, weight, and special handling requirements of a client's items. Notate items requiring extra care, such as pianos, fine art, fragile antiques, or oversized items. Evaluate logistical challenges at pick up and delivery ex. flights of stairs, tight parking, elevators, long carry.
Maintain Records & Send Estimates: Enter inventory & pricing data accurately into the company's Moving Software and send estimate to the client.
Consult with Clients: Explain Moving Services, Pricing Structures, Valuation/Insurance Options, & Timelines clearly to build trust and close sales.
Coordinate Logistics: Communicate inventory details & special instructions to our team.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
