Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist residents, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner, providing resident room numbers and directions to rooms or departments.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and resident information.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, copying, scanning, and faxing.
- Distributes paychecks.
- Assist Human Resource Department with reference checks for applicants.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred, ideally in a healthcare or nursing facility setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Empathetic and resident-centered approach to interacting with residents and families.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time doing data entry and paperwork.
- Must be able to work extended hours, as needed for the facility.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, climb, lift, and carry heavy objects.
- Part-time position, 4pm-8pm
