What You’ll Do
- Lead multiple projects or one highly complex project from preconstruction through closeout
- Drive project strategy, profitability, forecasting, scheduling, and change management
- Oversee project start-up, planning, constructability review, value engineering, and cost control
- Represent Absher at industry events, interviews, BD pursuits, and client meetings
- Build high-performing teams; mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety expectations, and quality standards
- Lead or prepare proposals, estimates, presentations, and project reports
- Resolve challenges proactively and collaborate with Superintendents to maintain safe, productive jobsites
- Maintain all project documentation and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders
- Model Absher’s values and set the tone for an inclusive, high-trust work environment
You’re an experienced construction leader who balances technical expertise with business acumen. You build confidence with clients, guide teams with clarity, and make informed, sensible decisions. You’re passionate about delivering great work and elevating the people around you.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects
- Experience supervising PM and PE staff
- Strong skills in scheduling, planning, financial oversight, and risk management
- Comfortable presenting, leading interviews, and supporting BD efforts
- LEED AP, OSHA-10, and First Aid/CPR preferred
- Ability to lead teams, mentor talent, and maintain strong client relationships
- Familiarity with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore) a plus
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality execution
