Location: Children's Home of Reading, Reading, PA - Hybrid


Join our Team as a Recruiter onsite at Children's Home of Reading.  In this RECRUITER role, you will plan, implement, and coordinate recruiting for one or more residential and community-based programs in multiple states including CHOR other affiliates as needed. 


Job Type: Full-time - Hybrid


Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (salary based on education and experience)


Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process.  The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting organizational growth by identifying top talent while ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies

  • Maintain and track candidate pipelines within ADP and other HR systems

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations throughout the hiring process

  • Coordinate onboarding activities and support new hire integration

  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting on hiring progress

  • Stay current with updates and changes within ADP and other HR platforms to ensure optimal system usage

  • Perform additional responsibilities and support other programs as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • 2 years of recruiting or HR experience preferred

  • Experience with ADP (Workforce Now or similar platforms) strongly preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to adapt to evolving HR technologies and system updates
