Abramorama, a leading independent film distributor for over 25 years is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting and financial operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, and month-end close
- Manage film revenue recognition, distribution fee accounting, and royalty/participant statements
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Maintain QuickBooks accurately
- Coordinate with distribution, marketing, and licensing teams on deal-related financial tracking
- Manage relationships with tax preparers and banking partners
Qualifications
- 5 years of accounting experience; entertainment, media, or film distribution experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition for licensing/distribution deals
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fun hybrid environment
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
