Responsibilities
- Wire components and subassemblies accurately according to detailed electrical wiring diagrams.
- Solder connections with precision, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards for quality and reliability.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment to prepare parts and perform adjustments.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate proper assembly and troubleshooting.
- Conduct testing on completed units using electrical testing equipment to verify functionality and safety.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and process logs.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration within manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies and quality control procedures.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge related to component installation and unit assembly.
- Electrical experience with troubleshooting circuits using multimeters or ohmmeters is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in wiring, soldering, and assembly tasks.
