Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and vibrant landscapes
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrubbery care to promote plant health and aesthetics
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and installing landscape features.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff
- Assist with equipment maintenance including cleaning, fueling, and minor repairs of tools like excavators or other machinery
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and hardscape installation
- Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to follow safety protocols diligently
