As we continue our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance / Inspector of Quality to join our Quality Management System and ensure the highest levels of regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Position Summary
The Quality Assurance / Inspector of Quality is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with FAA Part 145 regulations, EASA Part-145, UK CAA, AS9110 standards, customer requirements, and industry best practices.
This position serves as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, customers, and certification bodies while leading the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection, and Internal Audit functions of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain continuous compliance with:
- FAA Part 145
- EASA Part-145
- UK CAA Part-145
- AS9110 Quality Management System
- AC 145 guidance material
- Airworthiness Directives (ADs)
- Manufacturer Maintenance Manuals
- Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM)
- Service Bulletins
- FAA Orders and Advisory Circulars
- Ensure Repair Station Manual (RSM), Quality Control Manual (QCM), and all quality procedures remain current.
- Maintain all repair station certificates and operating approvals.
- Ensure all operations comply with applicable aviation regulations.
Quality Management System
- Lead and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System.
- Develop, revise, and implement quality policies and procedures.
- Establish measurable quality objectives and KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor quality trends and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain document control systems.
- Ensure process standardization throughout all departments.
Internal Audits
Develop and manage the annual internal audit program including:
- FAA Part 145 compliance audits
- EASA compliance audits
- UK CAA compliance audits
- Supplier audits
- Process audits
- Product audits
- Work order audits
- Records audits
- Tool calibration audits
- Training compliance audits
- Shelf-life audits
- Material traceability audits
- Receiving inspection audits
- Final inspection audits
- Human Factors compliance audits
Prepare detailed audit reports including:
- Findings

- Verification of effectiveness
- Management review presentations
External Audits
Serve as the primary company representative during:
- FAA inspections
- FAA surveillance
- EASA audits
- UK CAA audits
- Customer audits

Quality Assurance Leadership

Develop and manage CAPA processes.

Customer Quality
Serve as the quality liaison for customers regarding:

Support Sales and Customer Service during customer visits and technical presentations.
Quality Metrics
Develop and monitor KPIs including:

- Inspection efficiency

Present monthly quality reports to Executive Management.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aviation, Quality, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of aviation quality experience
- Extensive FAA Part 145 experience
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirements
- Experience managing regulatory audits
- Experience leading FAA surveillance inspections
- Experience developing Quality Management Systems
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant License (preferred, not required)
- Experience with engine, accessories, and airframe component repair
- Military and commercial aviation experience
- International regulatory experience
