Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

Department: North American Supply Chain Group

Reports to: Senior Manager, North American Supply Chain Group

Direct reports: None

Summary: The Quality Assurance Inspector will conduct cosmetic inspections of commercial aerospace parts per OEM cosmetic engineering specifications.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct cosmetic inspections of plated commercial aerospace interior components.

· Ensure accurate and complete documentation of work performed.

· Assist in surveillance of production facilities, processes, and procedures, reporting results to the Sr. Supply Chain Manager.

· Document and report nonconformities, defects, or quality issues in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

· Make accurate entries into discrepancy reports and quality records in accordance with company quality procedures.

· Other duties as assigned

Preferred qualifications:

· Minimum of two years of commercial inspection experience. Equivalent combination of repair experience and inspection experience will be considered.

· Strong communication skills both oral and written.

· Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be professional at all times. Ability to take initiative as problems or opportunities arise.

· Knowledge and understanding of FAR’s and regulatory compliance processes

Travel requirements: Travel to manufacturers around North America and to headquarters in Austria is required. Travel is up to 70% of weeks.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
