Description: We are a small ABA-owned business in the area focusing on high quality services for our clients of all ages in home, school, and community as well as a highly collaborative and supportive team. We are currently hiring an RBT in the Virginia Beach, VA area for a part time position from 2:30 PM-7:00 PM. These clients would be primarily in home and school and some sessions are in the community. Requirements
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Previous experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.
- Exhibit professional behavior by attending all therapy sessions and meetings on time according to schedule
- Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
- Perform general clerical duties including maintain accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports
- Communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients, parents/caregivers, BCBAs, other ABBA employees, school personnel, etc.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients in individual and group sessions
- Run skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs ethically and with fidelity
- Complete daily session notes and accurately render sessions in Online platform in a timely manner
- Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts to implement individualized treatment plans
- Collect accurate data in ABA therapy sessions
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise
- Other job duties as assigned by the lead BCBA
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal history L2 background check
- I9 and W4 updated forms
- Maintain RBT certification
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- Basic Life Support CPR/AED training provided by the agency and renew certifications as needed
- Receive Ongoing Supervision
- Adhere to BACB Ethics
