About You in Home Care is seeking a skilled and patient‑focused X‑Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team in the Picayune, MS area. The ideal candidate will perform high‑quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and support our clinical staff in delivering excellent care.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging - Perform high‑quality radiographic exams according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Patient Preparation - Prepare and position patients to obtain accurate images while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Equipment Operation - Operate and maintain digital X‑ray equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.
- Radiation Safety - Follow ALARA principles and all regulatory guidelines to minimize radiation exposure.
- Image Quality Review - Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic value before submitting to radiologists.
- Documentation - Accurately record patient information, procedures, and imaging data in the EMR.
- Collaboration - Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient care.
- Patient Care - Provide compassionate, professional interaction with patients of all ages.
Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification (R) required or eligible.
- State Licensure in Radiologic Technology (Louisiana).
- CPR/BLS Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
