Our menu centers around authentic Saj sandwiches, creamy labneh, fresh coffee, and vibrant matcha, all prepared using a traditional saj oven and the finest ingredients without unnecessary additions. As we grow, we are looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our friendly team and help us deliver an outstanding culinary experience to our customers. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to About Thyme's recipes and quality standards
- Operate the saj oven and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station at all times
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored to maintain quality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly to guarantee customer safety
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine, specifically Lebanese dishes, is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
- Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
