We are a growing immigration law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to individuals and families throughout the United States. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Immigration Attorney to join our office on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients navigate complex immigration matters while delivering outstanding client service.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and other government agencies.
- Prepare and review immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct legal consultations and develop case strategies.
- Handle removal defense cases, adjustment of status, family-based petitions, waivers, asylum, and humanitarian applications.
- Attend Master Calendar and Individual Hearings before the Immigration Court.
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates and legal requirements.
- Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
- Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants.
- Maintain accurate case management records and ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Occasional travel to other cities for hearings
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 0-2 years of immigration law experience preferred but not required.
- Experience appearing before Immigration Court is a plus.
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
