Finance Manager
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the AVP FPA and CFO on a wide range of financial, strategic, operational, organizational topics, and real estate portfolio repositioning. Interface with peers and senior management to evaluate and advise on the financial impact of short and long-term strategic and operational plans. Provide financial and business decision support and help evaluate new growth opportunities to sustainably scale the business.
- Support Finance team with annual forecast, long range strategic plan, and budgeting processes.
- Provide support to budget owners and division heads acting as a subject matter expert and providing guidance during the budgeting/forecasting/long-range planning processes.
- Review, identify and analyze the consolidated and business line budget and variances to actual results, synthesize findings to the senior management team and budget owners, and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Provide support and insight as we evaluate the use of AI and creating operational efficiencies and improving the overall financial stability of the Company
- Refine and regularly update financial dashboards for the Executive Team and Board of Directors
- Support business model planning such as new business or acquisition valuation, divestiture of an existing line, scenario and sensitivity planning, and forward-looking analysis.
- Design dynamic models for business lines to handle assumption changes, sensitivity analyses, and other what-if analyses and scenarios.
- Support Implementation of budgeting and analysis tools as a critical step to add visibility, organization, and speed to the finance function.
- Drive an efficient, effective, and comprehensive process for developing our annual and long-range financial plans and analyses that link to strategic objectives.
- Communicate risks, opportunities, and assumptions clearly.
- Partner with business leaders to drive performance across the organization in areas of top line growth and operating effectiveness and leverage. Evaluate business performance relative to expectations.
- Support delivery of timely, accurate, and effective analysis and reporting of financial and operational performance metrics
- Help drive benchmarking against competitors and frameworks for promoting growth and profitability.
- Work closely with the accounting and finance teams on performance vs actuals.
- Play a key role in helping refine capital structure and balance sheet, including priorities, capital allocation, liquidity management and financing. Work with the AVP, Finance/CFO to enhance our cash flow model and projections.
- Work with the CFO and executive leadership team to develop scripts, talking points, presentations and other communications strategies and materials that clearly illustrate the Company's revenue model, strategy and performance.

Equivalent Education, Experiences, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- - 7 years of experience
- - Deep understanding of real estate with strong preference for experience in affordable housing.
- - Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis skills and projections.
- - Experience with real estate transactions building sources/uses, proforma’s, supporting due diligence investor/lender requests
- - Experience building complex pro-forma finance models as part of company forecasting and reporting.
- - Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial culture
- - Ability and willingness to dive deep into details.
