ABOC is hiring a Funds Transfer Clerk. This position is responsible for performing tasks related to wire transfer processing, transactions and activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiates or verifies all wire transfer funds and security requests on the wire transfer system including international wires.
- Transfers internal funds.
- Reports large dollar outgoing and incoming funds transfer to Money Desk Manager.
- Advises bank personnel on incoming wire transfers when necessary (if department is not on FT Inquiry).
- Maintains various records including wire transfer and security logs, Bank Secrecy records and name/address information on Fundtech system.
- Maintains and processes customer inquiries
- Mails wire transfer advice to customers.
- Checks to make sure securities and/or wires have been processed throughout day.
- Prepare daily reports.
- Sorts and files pertinent reports/documents.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Microsoft 365 Experience
- Knowledge of practices and procedures as normally attained in three years of related banking experience (required)
- Previous experience in financial institutions in wire transfer in a primary or backup role (preferred)
