Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team for commercial projects. This role involves building, installing, repairing, and finishing structural and decorative elements using a variety of materials, including wood and metal. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform both rough and finish carpentry tasks, including:
- Framing
- Installing doors, windows, drywall, trim, and flooring
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, metal, and other materials
- Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Safely operate tools such as saws, drills, planers, nail guns, and levels
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and properly use required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, gloves)
Qualifications
- 1 years of carpentry or construction experience (commercial preferred)
- Trade school or vocational training preferred (entry-level candidates from trade programs encouraged to apply)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Familiarity with OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 standards (preferred)
- Experience with ceiling grid systems is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction materials and methods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing
Salary : $22 - $26
