What You'll Do
- Install residential/light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, ACs, heat pumps)
- Install and modify ductwork, vents, and system components
- Set and connect equipment, including refrigerant lines and electrical wiring
- Perform system startup, testing, and basic balancing
- Follow blueprints, specs, and local codes
- Maintain a clean, safe job site
- Communicate with customers and team members professionally
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving install issues
- Train/assist junior installers as needed
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of HVAC installation experience (residential/light commercial)
- Strong knowledge of ductwork, furnaces (gas/electric), heat pumps, and refrigerant systems
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, and start up complete systems
- Familiar with low voltage wiring, system testing, and balancing
- Understanding of applicable codes and safety practices
- Ability to train/mentor junior installers and take ownership of jobs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication with customers and ability to offer practical solutions
- Valid driver's license with insurable record
- Willingness to obtain/maintain NATE certifications
- Comfortable working at heights and using tools/equipment
- Reliable, coachable, and willing to invest in tools
