Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Optometrist to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect ocular diseases.
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Provide appropriate treatment options, including prescribing corrective lenses and medications.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EMR and EHR systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices, including the use of contact lenses and eyewear options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Perform routine tests such as measuring visual acuity, assessing peripheral vision, and checking vital signs.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school
- Active Florida Optometry License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
