What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Abingdon Estate Services?
Abingdon Estate Services is a quickly growing estate administration firm serving clients in Southwest Virginia. We are seeking a bookkeeper to assist with required estate accounting filings. Familiarity with estate accountings is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Attention to detail, computer skills, and reliability are required. Serious inquiries only please.
Responsibilities:
· Preparation of estate accountings for submission to commissioners of accounts
· Assistance with firm income and expense entries
· Assistance with firm time and expense entries and firm billing
Qualifications:
· Proficiency with Excel
· Ability to organize information and prepare accurate calculations for estate assets, receipts, debts, expenses, and disbursements
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
