Job Overview:
We are hiring committed, compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our agency in making a real impact on the lives of individuals in our community.
As an employed direct support professional you will provide services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities living at home or in a home-like setting.
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour to $16.00/hour

Duties include, but not limited to:
- Assist individuals with the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
- Assist individuals with the Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as meal preparation, maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning.
- Engage and assist client's in planning socialization activities in the community.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed by health care practitioner.
- Adhere to the person-centered support plan to provide individualized services.
- Execute the implementation plan to enable individual's to successfully accomplish his/her goals.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with individuals, family members, team members and the community at-large.
- Timely complete documentation of incident reports and progress notes.
- Maintain the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
- Communicate changes in the individual's condition to supervisor.
- Report abuse or suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately.
Minimum Requirements:
- U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years old, possess high school diploma or GED.
- Pass Level 2 employment screening.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- APD-required training certificates or completion of required training within the approved timeframe.
- Completion of annual training as required.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, vehicle registration and automobile insurance.
