Job Summary: The HR Intern supports the Human Resources Department in a variety of administrative, compliance, and project-based tasks. This role assists with auditing overtime (OT) and submitting trend analyses, maintaining the Paycom Learning Management System (LMS), supporting staff training initiatives, and ensuring job description accuracy in Paycom. The HR Intern will collaborate closely with managers and HR staff to maintain updated job postings, verify vacancy records, and support daily HR operations.
Responsibilities:
• Review and audit overtime (OT) for trends and coordinate with HR, Accounting, and program managers to address.
• Assist with maintaining and organizing the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading training materials, updating records, and supporting staff access.
• Support staff training initiatives, including tracking completion, maintaining documentation, and preparing training materials.
• Audit job descriptions in Paycom. Ensure each active position has an up-to-date job description uploaded.
• Work with managers to obtain, update, or create job descriptions for positions with missing documentation.
• Maintain and update job postings on external job boards, including Handshake and CTHires.
• Audit vacancy listings and compare them against the staffing pattern to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with general HR administrative tasks, filing, data entry, and special projects as needed.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Paycom or other HRIS systems is a plus.
• Interest in learning HR operations, compliance, and talent management practices.
• Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Must demonstrate professionalism and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced HR environment.
• Some onsite work required; remote work options may be considered depending on project needs.
Salary : $20 - $23
