We’re hiring enthusiastic Farmers Market Reps for the summer and fall (June–October) to join our family-run bakery in Spanish Fork, Utah, and help us share our love for fresh, healthy, handcrafted sourdough at farmers markets all over Utah.

What You’ll Do:
Saturday morning you will arrive at the bakery and drive a van and trailer and drop off supplies for a farmers market, and then drive to your specific farmers market location. With in-personal training and support you will
- Set the stage: Transport, and unload 27-lb boxes of bread, set up an eye-catching booth (tables, banners, pop-up tent, etc.), and create an inviting display that draws customers in.
- Be a bread evangelist: Chat with customers, share the story of our REAL Sourdough Bread, and explain its health benefits (gluten-friendly, nutrient-rich, and oh-so-tasty). Offer samples (where allowed) to spark excitement.
- Make sales fun: Engage customers with your warm smile and enthusiasm, help them choose their perfect loaf, and handle transactions (cash, Venmo, or Square on your mobile device).
- Keep it fresh and clean: Maintain hygiene with handwashing stations, keep the booth tidy, and ensure bread stays cool and protected from the elements.
- Team up: Work closely with the Farmers Market Manager, track inventory, and share ideas to make your market shine.
What We’re Looking For:
- Energy & Enthusiasm: You love talking to people, initiating conversations, and spreading positivity. Smiling comes naturally to you!
- Physical Stamina: You’re comfortable lifting 27-lb boxes, setting up booths, and staying on your feet for ~8 hours (5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Saturdays, June–October).
- Reliability: You’re punctual, dependable, and committed to showing up every Saturday with a can-do attitude.
- People Skills: You’re a self-starter who can build relationships with customers and turn first-time buyers into loyal fans.
- Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable using a smartphone for Square payments (we provide the equipment; you bring the charged device).
- Food Handler’s Permit: Must have or be able to obtain one.
- Bonus Points: 25 with a clean driving record and willingness to drive company vehicles including a small trailer.
