The Production Manager is responsible for implementing policies and procedures as well as establishing goals and objectives with the intent to improve product quality and productivity. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  • Set productivity goals for each position with the support of the Director of Operations.
  • Ensure agreed upon changes and enhancements are communicated with all employees.
  • Process digital files as needed.
  • Respond to all departments’ emails concerning status and movement of records within the department.
  • Status all work in computer system as required.
  • Maintain and organize work flow.
  • Maintain confidentiality of files received. 
  • Communicate all problems to direct Director of Operations.
  • Make CDs of files as required.
  • Maintain printing.
  • Order and maintain office supplies via tracking to ensure all supplies ordered are received.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carrying out all responsibilities in accordance with the company’s standards, policies, and all applicable employment laws.
  • Managing and monitoring workflow and providing support, training, and techniques to assist staff in achieving department daily/weekly/monthly goals and standards.
  • Encouraging positive morale, maintaining harmony among staff, and resolving grievances when necessary.
  • Overseeing the completion and approval of employee timecards and coordinating overtime needs with management and staff as needed.
  • Actively participating in the department’s staffing requirements including hiring, onboarding, and separating of employees.
  •    Creating and implementing plan to meet department’s goals and metrics based on workload and client needs.
  • Communicating change effectively and supporting those affected by change.
  • Managing insubordinate staff when warranted and initiating coaching or corrective actions as required and/or directed by upper management.
  • Evaluating staff needs and performance, providing periodic feedback to staff and reporting any performance concerns and/or recommendations growth opportunities to management.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience  

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college desired but not required. Prior computer, data entry, medical, legal or insurance claims office is helpful but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • Ability to implement operational changes quickly and thoroughly.
  • Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 25 W.P.M; knowledge of 10-Key a plus.
  • Must have good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Must have solid attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information is critical.
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures in effect at time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to time.

Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
