Basic Function:
The “Sr. Product Specialist” develops a mastery of ABI markets and products, provides prospects with superior project consultation, and utilizes ABI preferred sales methods and mediums to sell ABI products.
Activities & Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in all ABI products and the needs of our markets.
- Sell ABI products to our customers and prospects via our preferred mediums.
- Meet (and seek to exceed) sales and communication goals.
- Primarily communicate with ABI’s customers via phone, email, live chat, and text.
- Utilize ABI’s sales methodology with prospects and customers.
- Continuously re-invest in customers assigned to you to maintain healthy relationships.
- Gain a thorough understanding of our customers’ needs and wants through meaningful conversations.
- Recommend products and payment options based on customer needs.
- Thoroughly understand competitors’ products and be able to compare differences for customers.
- Create, maintain, and edit records in ABI’s CRM/ERP system in accordance with ABI policies.
- Actively participate in team meetings and engage ABI’s dynamic team culture.
- Participate in onsite and offsite training opportunities.
- Participate in an established growth plan, executing assignments and self-assessments as assigned.
- Utilize past experience and market knowledge to create new connections and future prospects.
- Participate in trade shows as an official representative of ABI as requested.
- Assignments, projects, or other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Affinity for and experience with agriculture, construction, and property management industries, preferred but not required.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to stand, sit, and see a screen eight hours of the workday.
- Ability to operate keyboard and view computer screen for eight hours of the workday.
- Must have the ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to work full-time, in-house.
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
- Ability to talk or hear to communicate with others via phone, in-person, and/or computer.
- Ability to listen to customers/vendors/colleagues, problem solve, and respond accordingly.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Environmental Conditions & Travel:
- The employee is exposed to an office environment with moderate noise as well as warehouse and manufacturing environments with moderate noise.
- The employee is required to wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment while working in the warehouse or manufacturing environments.
- Travel: Less than 5%.
