ABGi USA is hiring on behalf of one of our engineering and industrial clients for a Process Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering team supporting a variety of projects across the chemical, petrochemical, refining, and industrial sectors.
We're seeking an engineer with 2–7 years of experience who enjoys process engineering, technical problem-solving, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions from concept through execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop process engineering deliverables including heat and material balances, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Build and maintain process simulation models using HYSYS, PROII, or similar software.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and evaluate process equipment performance.
- Develop process designs for new and existing facilities.
- Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and process design packages (PDPs).
- Collaborate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, and project engineering teams.
- Support projects throughout the engineering and design lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 2–7 years of process engineering experience in an EPC, consulting, or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process simulation software such as HYSYS, Aspen HYSYS, PROII, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals and process design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally to client or project sites.
