Position Overview

The firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage electrical construction projects while ensuring safety, quality, scheduling, and compliance standards are met. This individual will provide field leadership, coordinate project activities, supervise crews and subcontractors, and serve as a key point of contact between project teams and management.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong electrical construction experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical construction projects from start to completion.
  • Manage field operations, schedules, manpower, and productivity to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate daily activities of electricians, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews to maintain workmanship standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage to support project budgets and timelines.
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize project delays.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates.

Qualifications

  • Master Electrician License required.
  • State Electrical License required.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Electrical Foreman, or similar leadership role within commercial and/or industrial electrical construction.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
