We seek multiple hardworking individuals to join our team as Heavy Chore Workers at Abernathy Home Care. This is a part-time/per-diem hourly position, and we individuals would service Lynn, Nahant, Lynnfield, Malden, Melrose, Reading, Chelsea, Winthrop, Saugus, Wakefield, Wilmington, Revere, and surrounding communities

 As a Heavy Chore Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of physically demanding tasks to maintain and improve the homes of our clients. This individual contributor role requires physical strength and stamina to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 per hour for Heavy Chore shifts and $20 per hour for Homemaking shifts, paid biweekly. 

Responsibilities:
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, moving furniture, and yard work to maintain and improve the homes of our clients.
• Clean and organize homes, including mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Putting in or taking out portable air conditioners. 
• Complete outdoor tasks, such as lawn mowing, snow shoveling, and gardening.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure tasks are completed to their satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a physically demanding role, such as construction, landscaping, or warehouse work, preferred.
• Ability to lift and move objects over 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
