Join the Associated Home Care Team!
Location: Multiple locations across Massachusetts
Company: Associated Home Care
Job Type: Part-Time
Job Code:
Associated Home Care is hiring Heavy Chore Workers in your area!
Benefits:
Heavy chore services involve a thorough deep cleaning of a consumer’s living space to promote safety and comfort within their home—whether that is a private residence, apartment, rooming house, or assisted living facility. These services are typically initiated when individuals first enter the home healthcare system to ensure that the environment is safe not only for the consumer but also for the aides providing care, including companions, homemakers, PCAs, CNAs, and HHAs.
While heavy chore is often associated with cleaning, our services extend far beyond that. We also assist with organizational tasks, packing and unpacking, installing or removing air conditioners, and much more. Our ultimate goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and hazard-free home environment—addressing everything from overall cleanliness and clear walkways to eliminating fire hazards and ensuring that no expired food items are being consumed.
Because many of our clients are elderly, completing both basic and deep cleaning tasks can be physically challenging for them. Consumers may be authorized to receive heavy chore services as a one-time visit or on a recurring schedule—weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Service sessions typically range from two to four hours, and any service requiring more than four hours will be divided into multiple shifts.
We are proud to be one of the leading providers in the industry, serving nearly all regions of Massachusetts. During the interview and hiring process, your recruiter will discuss the areas you’re willing to work in. This information helps us schedule you efficiently and match you with available assignments. The greater flexibility, the more opportunities we can offer you.
