Duties
- Perform alterations on various types of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear.
- Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute precise alterations.
- Assess customer needs and provide recommendations for alterations based on fit and style preferences.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all finished products, ensuring attention to detail.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requests and preferences.
- Keep the work area organized and clean, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends and techniques in garment construction.
Experience
- Previous experience in fashion retail or tailoring is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using sewing machines and understanding garment construction techniques.
