Lead Fire Alarm Service Technician

$35/hr.-$50/hr.
An established fire protection company is seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Service Technician to handle service calls, inspections, and system troubleshooting throughout the Tri-State area. This role is ideal for a technician with FDNY knowledge, S-98 certification (or familiarity), and strong technical experience looking for a stable company with growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Service, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
- Respond to service calls throughout the Tri-State area
- Ensure systems meet FDNY codes and compliance standards
- Perform system testing, maintenance, and repairs
- Complete service reports and required documentation
- Communicate with clients regarding service updates and findings
Requirements
- Experience as a Fire Alarm Technician
- S-98 Certification or knowledge of requirements
- FDNY code knowledge required
- NICET Level I or Level II preferred
- Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)
- Ability to work independently and manage service schedules
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the Tri-State area
