Interventional Radiologist

Salary Range: $600,000–$700,000

About the Role:
We are seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist (IR) with vascular experience to join our growing ancillary practice serving nursing homes across the Fort Lauderdale area. This is a full-time position ideal for a physician who is skilled in performing vascular procedures, comfortable with bedside consultations, and able to manage a broad range of patient needs from diagnosis to intervention.

Practice Setting:
Our model supports ancillary vascular services within nursing homes. Patients are referred to our vascular team by their primary care physicians. Once a consult is submitted, the IR visits the patient at bedside, evaluates the condition, and orders imaging (e.g., ultrasound) as needed. The IR then performs any necessary procedures directly related to the diagnosis and ensures continuity of care throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular consultations at nursing home bedsides

• Order and interpret vascular imaging studies

• Perform a variety of vascular procedures and minor interventions

• Manage pre- and post-procedure care

• Maintain accurate documentation and timely follow-up

• Provide patient-centered care with patience and professionalism

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology

• Active Florida Medical License

• 3–5 years of experience in vascular/interventional radiology

• Strong understanding of vascular conditions and procedures

• Experience working with elderly or long-term care patients preferred

• Comfortable working independently in off-site or mobile settings

• Willingness to travel within the Fort Lauderdale area

• Immediate availability

Preferred Candidates Have:

• Prior experience in the nursing home ancillary service model

• Familiarity with outpatient and bedside vascular workflows

• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
