What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekday Childcare Manager (Night Shift) position at ABC Great Beginnings?
ABC Great Beginnings is seeking a strong leader to join our elite team of managers, who run our childcare center.
The Night Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the center after day hours, including but not limited to:
- Supervise the program in all classrooms on an ongoing basis.
- Recruiting and training of teachers and other staff, and providing continued professional development.
- Manage all staff and schedules to ensure enrollment and attendance coverage.
- Recruit families who need care and maintain the maximum enrollment.
- Confer with any parent on policies and procedures, and any concerns.
- Ensure all licensing standards are upheld.
Requirements:
- Professionalism, sufficient maturity, and sound judgment are required to function in crises.
- Sensitivity to individual and group needs of children.
- Ability to supervise and create an atmosphere of positive and appropriate discipline for staff and children.
- Ability to communicate with parents effectively.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
