Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in New York, NY for a Construction Estimator. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, conducting quantity take-offs, managing project budgets, and preparing bid proposals. Other responsibilities include analyzing project specifications, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring accurate documentation for all estimating-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Construction Estimating and performing accurate Quantity Take-offs
- Experience with Budgeting and Cost Management for publick works construction projects
- Excellent Communication skills for coordination with teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with construction software and tools for estimation
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Previous experience in public works or similar construction projects is highly desirable
- Experience with Planswift, Bluebeam, Procore, On Screen Take Off, Autocad, Microsoft Office or Autodesk, Buildconnect.
